Luke Diamond is a conductor, composer, baritone, and pianist based in Tucson, Arizona. He currently serves as music director for the Tucson Masterworks Chorale and Christ Presbyterian Church and works in the Catalina Foothills School District. He also performs as a pianist and vocalist at Tucson's Gaslight Theatre, and works extensively as a music director for musical theatre — most recently directing musicals at the elementary level, building on earlier work as a high school's primary musical director. He co-hosted the 2025 Tucson Big Sing presented by the Arizona Choral Arts Association.
Luke's compositional output consists of a wide variety of musical genres, with a particular focus on choral music, opera, and musical theatre.
His current project, Breathing in the Awe, is a choral album inspired by U.S. national parks, which premiered with the Tucson Masterworks Chorale in Spring 2026. The project reflects a fascination with nature and Luke's desire to celebrate the beauty and wonder of these parks through music, and is now moving toward a national tour and professional recording.
Luke holds a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from West Virginia University, with additional conducting studies at Westminster Choir College and Bard College.
